GV Art is pleased to present a new solo exhibition by the artist and lecturer Andrew Carnie, whose current work explores scientific themes and involves ‘picturing’ the body through science. The topics of his work include memory, the brain, developmental neuroscience, genetic disorders, temporal lobe epilepsy and the human body after death. His practice often involves concentrated interaction with scientists in different fields as a stage in the development of his work; other works are self-generated and develop from robust ideas he is interested in.
