CALL TO ARTISTS

GV Art are planning a new sound exhibition, NOISE and whispers.

Exhibition :  8 November – 14 December 2013

GV Art, the country’s leading art and science gallery is planning a new sound exhibition, NOISE and whispers, curated by Martin A. Smith and produced by Robert Devčić.

The exhibition will explore study and celebrate the intersection of art, science and sound in its many and varied forms and will focus on the relationship between these seemingly disparate but inevitably intertwined disciplines.

We would like to invite you to send us a brief proposal of ideas for work (whether existing or yet to be realised) to be considered for this exhibition theme. Please send us low res images or sound files with no more than one side of A4 describing your work. Links to sound files and websites are accepted. We will call you if we need any more information. Any form of work is viable; sound pieces, video, sculpture and so on.

We would like to hear your responses and ideas. Please do bear in mind we thus far have a limited budget so any costly media or technology cannot be provided by GV Art.

Deadline for proposals is Friday 26 July 2013.
